The only aspects of this film that I could live with or without are the human characters, Tom and Maddie. Other than advancing the plot, they don’t have any significant functions. They’re not bad characters, though. They don’t spend much time on screens, but I still like them. We go to these movies to see Sonic and the crew, so I’m cool with that too.
Jim Carrey demonstrates once more why he is the ideal choice for the role of Doctor Eggman. Furthermore, he performs two roles in this film. You can sense his enthusiasm for the role and how much he enjoys playing it, and it’s a lot of pleasure to watch him portray both personalities. In addition, this is the first part he has reprised for the third time in his lengthy career. After all these years, it’s good to see that he still has it.
Another outstanding selection for Shadow’s voice is Keanu Reeves. He imitates Shadow’s troubled past and nuanced personality. From his performance, you can sense the unadulterated emotion. To be honest, I wouldn’t be dissatisfied if Sega decided to use these voices in their upcoming Sonic game. It’s not that their video game counterparts are awful; rather, it’s the quality of the performers in the films.
The plot of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on Myfixer movies online is incredibly well-adapted, and it evokes the feelings you would expect from the type of narrative they are presenting. Compared to previous films, Sonic in this one is more like his gaming persona. Any Sonic lover would love this, and the whole family could spend the weekend there.
My only gripe is that I wish the film had been a bit longer so that Shadow’s tale could be developed further and given more time to have even more significance. It was done nicely overall, albeit at times it seemed a bit hurried. I only wish there was more since you can still feel the emotional tug on the audience’s heartstrings.
