Silo Season 2 : What Did Juliette Find In Silo 17

SILO-Season-2

Silo Season 2 Review

Silo Season 2 picks up the weight of Season 1’s ending, and it all starts with a closer look at Juliet. When Silo premiered last year, I was blown away. One of the best science fiction series on TV, is an adaptation of Hugh Howey’s Silo trilogy of sci-fi novels of the same name. You can watch Silo Season 2 on Flixhd movie.

The first season of the Graham Yost-created series introduced viewers to the Silo, a deep underground fortress that protects its inhabitants from a toxic wasteland in the future. Then the sheriff (David Oyelowo) breaks a cardinal rule, and other people start dying. Juliet (Rebecca Ferguson) unravels the conspiracy that surrounds her.

Silo Season 2, Episode 1, “The Engineer,” focuses on Juliet’s life, her past, and what happened after she died. The opening episode of this season depicts events at another silo, this time one of war. As forces fight, kill, and eventually push to the surface, the desire to get outside seems universal. But as the camera pans down to a bone-strewn land, Juliet’s survival becomes an experience unlike any other.

The rest of the episode follows the ominous tone of the season finale, but no one else appears. Aside from a prologue, Silo Season 2, Episode 1 focuses entirely on Juliet. Her past was hinted at in Season 1, but here it’s lifted, revealing a fundamental element of her resilience.

Silo Season 2, Episode 1

The series has had many slow developments thus far, but it never loses character. This is perhaps most representative of Silo Season 2, Episode 1. Juliet enters an empty, war-torn silo. Winning their sanctuary won’t be easy. Instead, she must use her engineering background, think fast, and find a way to survive. But as Shirley (Ida Brooke/Remy Milner) has told her in the past, death is the only option, and that’s not Juliet.

Rebecca Ferguson’s performance as Juliet was the best-written female character in any sci-fi television show. Her determination is shaped by vulnerability, and her complexity is inscribed in her choices by a past we’re only now beginning to know. Juliet’s character and outlook are shaped by the people she loves. As Juliet explores the dilapidated Silo, she is forced to confront her grief and the audience learns who she really is.

The panic Ferguson brings to this Silo Season 2 review episode is palpable. Juxtaposing her childhood (2003) with her present self, there is a sense of determination between the two, but also melancholy. Ferguson has the ability to operate alone, almost in silence. The silence of her solitude makes the discovery that she is not alone all the more shocking.
